I am part of the job share that teaches in Hawkins class. I teach on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I have been teaching at Croft Primary School since 2017, in a number of different capacities; including supply teacher, cover teacher and ks1 class teacher.
During my time at Croft I have taught every year group and there are few children whose faces aren’t familiar to me. I believe that all children should be encouraged to embrace all learning opportunities to enable to thrive in their own way.
Outside of school I enjoy visiting new places, reading, baking and spending time with my family.
I teach the brilliant Hawkins class every Monday and Tuesday. I joined Croft CE School in 2016 and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the school. My roles include: deputy head teacher and SENCo.
I am passionate about ensuring every child fulfills their true potential and develops a love for lifelong learning. It is a joy to see the children progress throughout the year and during their time at Croft.
My interests include: reading, yoga and travelling to new places with my family
About Our Class
Hello, welcome to Hawkins class. We are a lively bunch who embrace all of our learning opportunities with enthusiasm and enjoyment. Like other classes we have started to use “ The Big Question” to develop our learning and enhance our knowledge.
We are really enjoying learning about Australia and all things Australian. Our class text has been “Tiddilick The Greedy Frog” and we have had a great time learning the story and giving it actions to help us retell it and write our own versions. We have been working on our three rules – Ready, Respect and Safe to help get us ready for learning by being respectful to others and making sure our learning environment is safe and happy.
